Hi All Members,
I am also facing problems in my office. I am working as a H.R. Executive in the company. There is lot of Leg pulling over here. Personnel Manager over here don't want that I would do something for the company and get success. Even this company told me at the time of interview that, they will increase my pay after 6 months but after 6 months, no increement and when i ask them for the same them they replied that they are not aware off that increement and confirmation is done after 1 year. They are also not giving me any work to do. Even their is no separate H.R. Department here. I used to sit in P.A.'s room and everyone considers that i am also a P.A.I am not interested to work here anymore. Plz suggest me, what to do.

Hello Anitha
I understand the situation you are facing. You need to discuss with your Immediate Manager and tell him/her the problem you are facing. And wait for response. Do not react to the situation. It happens with most of the people. Try to be calm. Follow the protocol. Hopefully your problem will be resolved
Thanks & Regards

It reflects the work culture of a company. In this case, the matter should be brought to the notice of the managing director - through a proper channel. One day she will not hesitate to sit in his chair too ! She is indulging in gross indiscipline and HR can certainly raise the matter as her conduct is in voilation of HR policy and code of conduct of any good organization.

Agreed with PG... HR is the Person who keeps the org.'s culture, employees' relations, etc. appropriate by
monitoring the implemantation of HR Policy, related to culuture as well.Whenever
its required to take action, has to be taken for org.

Anita, the best way is to send her a mail quoting her activities and mark a bcc to your immeidate boss. Have a written document for your side and then proceed aptly.
Take the situation lightly, be aggressive and assertive. Good luck!!

Hi Anita,
according to me you send mail to your hr manager regarding the issue, if suppose he is not taken any action, send another mail and put a cc copy to your GM or MD or any higher authority.

Anita, Everything can be solved through proper channel of communication. So take the issue to the management through the proper channel. Any management who is interested in the goodbeing of the comapny will listen to your issue and will take a correct decision. Also please document all the conversation/issues which can act as a proof and you can be in the safer side.

HI ANITA,

why you are so much worry about these thing's .though u are HR Coordinator but u should not not involve urself in these kind of incidents . you do ur work & love ur job only, try to do research in HR & enrich ur self with skills & competencies ,stop taking tensions about these matters.

Hi Anitha,
You would come across many people like the secretary in question who would try to take things for granted. You have to remember that you are not only an HR Coordinator but a part of your company's HR team and as that it is your responsibilty to ensure that the decorum is maintained.
As stated by many it would be best to send her a mail with a CC to your immediate boss and MD. If even after that the problem persists you may confront her in a manner that is not rude but firm. Remember, the trick is to keep the ball in your court.

Anika
