Can any one clarify me the following
What is meant by ''employment carried on under the authority of the Central Government'' ? which is used in the definition of ''Appropriate Govt.'' in the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976?
Can you specfify any employment under the authority of the Central Govt. for purpose of the said Act?

Thanks for your immediate response,
I am under impression that ''the establishments under the control of Central Govt.'' refers to the ''Controlled industries'' .Because the said term is also used in the definition of ''Appropriate Govt'' in few other Acts ( i.e.ESI Act, EPF Act).
Whether my understanding is right?
Kindly clarify me the difference between the term '' establishments under the control of Central Govt.'' and '' the employments under the authority of Central Govt.''
