Dear all recently supreme court gave an judgement regarding the contribution clause of pf which includes all allowances except HRA in the gross, but yet now we in our region didnt get any gazette notice from the concerned department,is there any proceedings related to this issue in any other state and more over i would like to clarify whether food allowance will attract pf contribution

So far no notification to the effect has been issued to include such allowances other than Dearness Allowance to be included in the salary for the purpose of EPF. Therefore, food allowance will not attract PF as on date. Regards, Madhu.T.K
