This is another problem I have been facing from the beginning of my carrer.
I have been working in placement staffing companies for the last 6 months. When I call people to get their details some people first ask whether I am calling from a company or a consultancy and when I say the truth they readly say that they are not interested in changing.Becausing of this I am not able to get required number of profiles.
Please help me.

Recruitment is a sales and marketing job. A recruiter (working for clients) sell the company and the job. Being disappointed with candidates' attitudes/preferences will take a recruiter no where. You could probably try understanding more about the requirement you contact candidates for, understand what would be different in the role and tell them to listen to them before passing on such statements (all that very politely).
If nothing works out, the last resort for external recruiters is.. "Hi, I am calling on behalf of XYZ company". If candidates ask the question, you could simple state the same again.."I am calling on behalf of THE company".
