i hv done my BA IN PSYCHOLOGY. now i want 2 do HR.but my college mam is suggesting me to go 4 MA IN Industrial Psycholgy....so what should i do.should i go 4 some profeesional courses like PGDHRM or DHRM....or go 4 MA????

First and foremost don't be confused.
The carrer whatever it be should be accordance to ur liking...because it is what u have to do a carre in it....so if u choose something in which have liking u give more dedication then the other implemented by ur professor or anyone else.I am not saying ur professor may br wrong....u can always take the advice from the seniors but the decission should be ur own...Take the right decission without getting confused..Study about the course ......the prospects after completion.....etc

Psychology teaches you a broad range of skills, spanning those traditionally associated with both arts and science degrees, and offers you a wide range of career prospects, including becoming a professional psychologist in, for example, the health service, education, or business.
This degree allows you to embark on careers in areas such as Market Research, Human Resources, Teaching and Social Work, or may train as a Professional Psychologist, for example in Clinical, Health, Educational, Forensic or Occupational Psychology.
As a matter of fact, Psychology is really about life and HR is an important part of professional life. So you must not be dissapointed with your present educational status. As you already have a BA (Psychology) degree, I would suggest that you go for PGDip (HRM), if possible select a daytime program. Besides, you can always register as a part-time M.A. student while doing another activity.

:) thanx a lot 4 yr beautiful advices................but there is 1 problem. all pg courses for hr r quite expensive .that is, i cant afford it....so 4 now i hv decided 2 take my admission in MA n after doing that i'll definitely get a job(not much exciting but its ok!! :!: :roll: ).....along wid dat i'll do some diploma course of HR....is it ok????? .......

As per my understandings PSYCHOLOGY has huge demand in market if you have a good Communication skills.
Assisting/helping a Country head will not be possible in common lay man language.
today most of IT employees need this.
Go in this field only.
