Iam Priya. I want to know how to calculate the Basic,PF,ESI,HRA,DA. I want formulas. If anyone knows the formulas then plz send me that formulas. thank you.

Hi Priya,
Please find attached the file for PF & ESI Calculation. As far as Basic, HRA is concerned it varies fro company to company. There is no such formula to calculate it. HRA is an allowance which is generally calculated on some fixed percentage (say for e.g. 40%) of Basic Salary.

Dear Priya,
In addition to Hari , i suggest, that basic salary- 50%-60% of the gross salary, but not less than the minimum wages of the state.
HRA- 30%-40% of the basic salary'
Convy- Rs. 800/- (above than that is taxable)
Med All.- Rs. 1250?- (Above than that is taxable)
rest should be kept in other allowance head.
