I am attaching budget speech (Part-II) given by Maharashtra Finance Minister on 26.3.2012 alongwith highlights for your information.
Following points may be noted:
- Online verification of input tax credit facility will be made available to dealers shortly
- C forms will be issued in electronic form
- Dealer will not be able to upload return without payment of late fee of Rs.5,000/-
- In case of branch transfers outside the State, set off will be reduced by 4% instead of 2% from 1.4.2012
- Stamp duty on conveyance deeds will be increased to 3% in case of areas under Grampanchayats, 4% in case of Municipal Councils and 5% for other urban areas including Municipal Corporations.
