Dear All,
I want to know law regarding leaves provision given to employees covered under ESI & PF . We give 28 holidays per year , 7 - SL , 7-CL, 14 - EL and so on , but some employees take 2 holidays every month to avail this benefit and some additional employees ( generally labour) take 1 month holiday. I have to make some documents, so how should i show their leave process in documents, One HR person told me that cover all this 28 holidays and after that start deduction and show absent in your register but can we give advance holidays , as one EL is given after every 20 days working .
Kindly give response ASAP.

First divide all leave except EL then update it on monthly bases
so add 0.5 SL & 0.5 CL every month after it if any have balance he can avail otherwise it will LWP.
if any have better idea please discuss

Dear ALL this message is only for my self satisfaction, I am very sad to day because I have been terminated from my designation in my probation period while I had spent only 28 days in the organisation because setting the HR Department I was searching different websites including this plate form to get the formats and take an idea and past after doing changes. My line manager told me that you are copying and pasting from net while we need some one who create the department and I was also doing the same job but taking advantages from the net.
Let me know only one thing
Whether I am wrong or right. Its only for my self satisfaction If I am doing wrong so I will care next time.
Thanks please answer

Puja,
Is your office a factory or establishment? The factories act & shops act stipulate minimum quantum of leave. As for factories act 1 day leave is to be given for 20 days worked. Check J&K state shops act provision. Depending on shops act provisions you may be required to group all leave together as annual leave of 28 days.
