Sir, it appears that the concerned government has not so far published intention gazette notification regarding enhancement of wage ceiling to Rs. 21000/- under ESI Act, 1948. If required, you can confirm the position either from nearest office of ESIC or from the appropriate govt. i.e. Ministry of Labour, Central Govt., New Delhi.

ON MINIMUM WAGES ENCHANCED BY THE GOVT OF DELHI EFFECTIVE 01/10/2016
The Govt of Delhi has increased the Minimum Wages declaring the Existing Wages as Basic and Dearness Allowance of Rs. 156/- making it to Rs. 9724/- for an Unskilled category of workman.
The minimum Wages constitutes of BASIC+ HRA+ OTHER LIVILIHOOD EXPENSES.
While fixing the existing minimum wages as basic pay the Govt, has not mentioned in
its notification as to what will be the HRA amount in the new Minimum Wages.
Does any one has idea as to what is the amount incorporated as HRA in the Minimum wages fixed by the Delhi Govt from 01/10/2016
