Dear Seniors, Greetings!!
One employee has got promotion without any relevant experience certificates but his HOD has favoured on him. At that time I am newly joined in xxx organisation. I can't able to observe his profile. Now I go through his profile there is no relevant certificates. Since I am asking but he is not bringing and saying some pretext. Is there any action to take HR Department. Or can I take management decision. ?
Kindly give me suggestion.
Thanks and Regards,

Dear BM Rao,
I recommend you preparing report on the employee promotion and sending it to the management. Secondly, you need to check whether you have Policy on Employee Promotion. Prepare the draft of the policy and when subject is discussion with the top boss, tell him that you have prepared the draft of the policy. In this policy, define the parameters on which promotion will be considered.
In the meeting with the top boss, explain to him that you had been asking relevant certificates but he has not submitted and therefore, it is time to send a written communication. Prepare a letter addressed to the promoted employee however, let it be signed by the MD. You do not sign the letter. If the employee fails to oblige the written directive, then you may go ahead with the disciplinary action.
Thanks,
