The ubiquitous presence of IT in every aspect of organizations and society requires today’s managers and executives to have a clear understanding of the role technology plays in advancing business strategies. Fast changing, competitive landscapes require innovations in business practices that are often enabled by IT applications. Therefore business and IT leaders frequently need to collaborate on continuous innovations in business processes and explore how IT can accelerate and enable these innovations. The main objective of the workshop is to impart sufficient understanding of the issues we encounter in evaluating, designing, implementing and managing business processes
Objective
Build the foundations for process analysis by focusing on key aspects of business processes, including collaboration, information flow, people, roles and business rules
Introduction to various techniques and tools of process analysis and management including process mapping techniques and simulation
Build the competency required to model and analyze AS-IS processes and develop coherent and well thought out improvement plans for redesigning organizational processes

* The workshop will use real business case studies in interactive sessions to deliver the core content. A course packet consisting of workshop notes, articles and business case studies will be given to each workshop participant. Business process modeling sessions will be conducted using industry-standard Business Process Modeling Software.
