Dear All
Please find a presentation "Boss Vs Leader".
The content inspiration is from "Terry Starbucker", a top active blogger, business consultant, strategist, coach and angel investor.
I am ardent fan of Terry and I am very keen to convert his writings/ blog works into presentable formats to share with my colleagues at office during the training programs I conduct.
If I had borrowed the content idea from Terry, I should admit that I have borrowed power-point presentation making idea from none other than Sompong. I am a great fan of his as well..!!!
I wish this presentation is read and used by many, propagating the ideas of Terry & Sompong. Sincere thanks to them.
Hope you enjoy as much as I did.
Regards
Sowmini.

Hello Sowmini,
Thank you for the excellent post.
The attributes of a Leader and Boss have been brought out succinctly
and your effort is laudable.
I wish to present my views as under.
SLIDE 3 THIRD BULLET POINT
“Leader becomes a not-so-pleasant person who creates a not-so-enjoyable work environment”.
This view is not palatable. In my view ‘Leader is always looked forward to by his team and people enjoy working for the cause the leader stands for’. Everything would be OK if the word LEADER is replaced by the word BOSS.
FOURTH BULLET POINT
“This brings progress to a screeching halt”.
Perhaps this refers to BOSS.
SLIDE 10
“A Boss likes to talk, while the Leader prefers to Listen”.
It is also true to say that a Boss likes to talk,
while people like their Leader to talk.
SLIDE 14
“A Boss gets lost in process, while the Leader gets absorbed in performance”.
A Boss emphasizes on result while a Leader remains process oriented and
Leaders are not afraid of failures.
I wish to point out I had also posted a single slide covering many attributes of a
Boss and Leader. Please see the ppt titled "Leader and Boss " that you see
along side these columns under the caption Down Load thread. Your views are welcome.
Thanks for the post once again,
