Work Permits to be issued by the concerned department who are engaging the contractor / contract labors mentioning the specific area of work, Safety precaution to be taken etc.
From HR point of view it is essential to check whether the contractor has PF & ESI Code or not. If yes then compliance status should be checked. If no then will be required to comply under PE's Code. It is also essential to check whether Minimum Wages has been paid or not.
