dear friends and seniors,
one of my friend (A science graduate and hospital administration experience) got offer an offer from a brand hospital in mumbai.
Now the Gratuity (which is a gratutity which employer shows for its employees for long term of service) is dedcuted / included in CTC, as they they do for PF - deducting both side contributions.
Now my question is : if she leaves the job before completion of 5 years (suppose within a year or 2 year) will she be still be eligible to cliam the gratuity? because here gratuity is her part of CTC.

Generally, gratuity is shown as a part of CTC as Employer is going to pay that amount to employees either on retirement / resignation after completion of 5 years of service. Eligibility criteria remains same i.e. minimum 5 years service.
But gratuity is not deducted from salary or Gross. You can re-check her salary structure.

dear All Gratuity cannot be a part of CTc as it is a reward for an employee if he serves the organization for 5 continuous yeras, thus the cTC cannot include gratuity as a part regards ashish banka
