Dear Senior,
In my current job my senior want me to present correlation of education, Experience & Performance for my current work force. I search a lot for the same on net but not getting any firm idea.
can any one please help me.

To get the performance of the desired level education and experience are necessary. However, it is not mandatory. It all depends on the level of performance you are looking at. Your past post shows that you are associated with Retail Industry. Performance to maintain "Inventory Carrying Cost of the Warehouse" at certain level will require high level education and experience. If you do not wish to measure performance on this count then you do not require high level qualification and "experience" is sufficient.

At the very high level, CEOs are selected based on their potential. Take the case of Mr D Shivakumar, whom PepsiCo has appointed as CEO. He was CEO of Nokia for eight years. Take example of Mr Ravi Venkatesan. Earlier he was with Cummins Inc. Then he became CEO of Microsoft and then he moved to Infosys. Cummins and Microsoft both had unconnected businesses yet the board selected him considering his potential.

Nevertheless, while selecting candidates for the managerial positions, potential is never considered. A very blinkered view of "experience" is taken. Industrial decline or success does not depend only the "experience" of the personnel working there. Dell Inc, one time blue chip company had to become private limited and Yahoo is trundling for more than a decade. Both the companies have "experienced" employees sufficiently but that did not stop from their decline. But in India, every thing starts with experience, unfortunately!
