Dear Arunish,
Have submitted the response. Most of the skills are inter-related, if one has to be learnt, then the others also come along because in isolation no skill would make a real difference.
Skills have to be inculcated for making a real change in the students, it can not be just a few hours of standard module to show that the students have undergone a training programme. And this can't happen in a day or a week or month; it's a process.
All the best!

Dear Arunish,
This is in addition to what Jyoti has said. Lack of soft skills among the students is inherent problem of our education system. In our education system, hardly any efforts are made to build the skills. The education system is highly oriented towards theory papers. The system makes students highly bookish or bookworms. The system has helped proliferation of the coaching centres in every nook and corner of most of the cities.
Therefore, it is not just skills gap, but what exists is valley. The last sentence of Jyoti's reply is "And this can't happen in a day or a week or month; it's a process." Yes, this is a process and it should start right at primary level of the school. But then who will do that?
Thanks,
