Hi Friends,
I have a question .
I am a US recruiter from the past 4 years and have been working nights. As you know these US staffing companies are paying good salaries and also good incentives. If I come to Domestic can i get same salary? Or shall I have to work for low salary. Please let me know.
Would you give importance to a domestic recruiter who has good contacts first and later to a US recruiter OR would you give importance to a recruiter who has good exp and sourcing skills?.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
You can identify advantages and disadvantages for each and every job.
But you need to choose from the alternatives.
I know US sourcing is a lucrative job but working continuously on night shifts may affect your drive and life style. Many people will consider it as gap job and some will earn some big amount and then switch over to regular jobs
Don't worry you can use the competencies here in domestic recruitment too. So identify your strenghts and start search...meet consultants in some of the good recruting concerns. You can expect hefty incentives in domestic market but salary will be less
best of luck

Hi,
I would like to suggest u few aspects.
Night shifts are good for the time being. Doing continious night shifts will have more health problems in the Long run.
Very good salaries in night shifts, but I feel Health is Wealth.
Plz also think on Long run, after marriage etc.
Try for a better JOB with good position and preferable DAY JOB.

Hi,
Domestic recruitment is you will never get salary what you are earning right now in domestic recruitment irrespective of your experience. Even I have 4 yrs US recruitment exp, I tried to shift to domestic recruitment I was told my exp is irrelevant! Isn't ridiculous? Also the way BPO is experience is not considered in IT industry same is with domestic staffing.
Take care!
