I support the previous member. The FMCG company is expected to be ready with the projects for the summer interns.
If the HR professional of that company or the summer intern itself comes to the public forum and starts asking, then it shows poorly on the part of the company.
Anyway, FMCG companies have to spend a huge amount on sales and marketing. Therefore, the intern may be told to gather information on the cost component of either sales or marketing costs. Otherwise, the summer intern may be given a questionnaire to know the consumer preferences about their own products or the products of their competitors.
