Is it possible that a person CTC is 14000 and he get in hand as 8000 only?

Dear members, How is CTC of a person and his IN - hand salary, or salary he get in his account is decided? And is it possible that a person CTC is 14000 and he get in hand as 8000 only.?

Hi, You need to understand that, the CTC is the cost to the company and net salary is the salary credited to employee on monthly basis. Yes, it is possible that, the CTC is 14000 and net is 8000 depending on what are the heads counted or included in CTC.
