The air hostess, as she passed along the aisle of the plane on the transatlantic flight from Amsterdam <link outdated-removed> to New York, she noticed that the baby, nestled between the couple who were asleep, didn’t look very well, in fact it looked extremely ill.
Not wanting to disturb anyone she gently lifted up the baby and took it back to her station. Feeling the baby’s forehead, she found it was cold and with a sudden panic she realized that the infant was dead. Calling upon a doctor she knew to be on board, he examined the baby and confirmed that, not only was it dead, but it was embalmed.
The child’s body had been hollowed out and it was full of the drugs that the couple was trying to smuggle into the States

A woman living in the city {Salt Lake} was visiting some friends in Ogden. When she got into her car in front of this friend’s house, she noticed that a car started up right behind her car. It was about 2:00 in the morning, and there weren’t any other cars on the road. After she had driven to the highway, she began to think that this car was following her. Some of the time he would drive up real close to her car, but he wouldn’t ever pass.
She was really scared to death and kept speeding to try to get away from him. When she got to Salt Lake, she started running stoplights to get away from him, but he would run right through them too. So when she got to her driveway she pulled in really fast, and this guy pulled in right behind her. She just laid on the horn, and her husband came running out.
Just then, the guy jumped out of the car, and her husband ran over and said, ‘What the hell’s going’ on here?” So he grabbed the guy, and his wife said, “This man’s followed me all the way from Ogden.”
The man said, ‘I followed your wife because I was going to work, and as I got into my car, I noticed when I turned my lights on, a man’s head bob down in her back seat.”
So the husband went over to her back seat, opened the door, and there was a deranged man sitting on the floor with a knife in his hand.

The man asked her for a favor: could she deliver the letter to the address on the envelope? Well, it was on her way home, so she agreed. She started out to deliver the message, when she turned around to see if there was anything else the blind man needed.
But she spotted him hurrying through the crowd without his smoked glasses or white cane. She went to the police, who raided the address on the envelope, where they found heaps of human flesh for sale.
And what was in the envelope?.................
A note saying ?.......
"This is the last one I am sending you today"

The policeman calmly told him to get back into the bath and sit there till the police and ambulance had arrived. The man’s kidneys had been removed..

There is an urban legend in my town of Kokomo, Indiana. We have many urban legends in fact, but there's one in particular.
The story is set on Old Sycamore Road which an old road in the farmland, and open field area of my town. There's a small bridge off Old Sycamore Road that takes you onto another road, and it takes you to the next town.
The story goes a man, or a boy fell off the bridge, and died once hitting their head on the rocks underneath the bridge, and if you were to drive on Old Sycamore Road at night, and you were to cross that bridge, then the "ghost" of the man, or boy appear next to your car once you pass the exact spot they had fallen from until you exit the bridge.
My friends and I have tested this urban legend many times, and we have yet to see anything. We don't even know if anyone really died there, but true or false, it's an interesting, and eerie story, and visual..

It was just a regular library, but when night strikes, it becomes alive and extremely spooky. Three girls came for research and stayed overtime.
When midnight approached, the girls had no intention of researching anymore because they soon found out that there was no way out. The books started screaming loudly and the girls were petrified.
When they turned around, the third girl was hung to a tree and we saw the blood streaming down her head! It was too scary to watch. We soon split up to find an exit, but when I turned to show my friend that the book was alive, I saw her dead with a stabbed back! I was the only survivor and it was only a matter of time before they would kill me.
I quickly turned around and I saw, aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!

Black cats have long been believed to be a supernatural omen since the witch hunts of the middle ages when cats were thought to be connected to evil. Since then, it is considered bad luck if a black cat crosses your path.
Broken Mirrors
An ancient myth our ancestors believed was that the image in a mirror is our actual soul. A broken mirror represented the soul being astray from your body. To break the spell of misfortune, you must wait seven hours (one for each year of bad luck) before picking up the broken pieces, and bury them outside in the moonlight.
Ladders
In the days before the gallows, criminals were hung from the top rung of a ladder and their spirits were believed to linger underneath. Common folklore has it to be bad luck to walk beneath an open ladder and pass through the triangle of evil ghosts and spirits.
Owls
If an owl looks in your window or if you seeing one in the daylight bad luck and death will bestow you.
Salt
At one time salt was a rare commodity and thought to have magical powers. It was unfortunate to spill salt and said to foretell family disarray and death. To ward off bad luck, throw a pinch over your shoulder and all will be well.
Sparrows
Sparrows are thought to carry the souls of the dead and it is believed to bring bad luck if you kill one.

Good Luck Superstitions
Horseshoes
To bring good luck, the horseshoe must lost by a horse and be found by you, with the open end facing your way. You must hang it over the door with the open end up, so the good fortune doesn't spill out.
Another origin of the 'lucky horseshoe' is the belief that they ward off witches. Witches, it was once believed, were opposed to horses, which is why they rode brooms and pitchforks instead. By placing a horseshoe over a door, the witch would be reluctant to enter. (Hat tip: Iris)
Four Leaf Clover
Clover is believed to protect humans and animals from evil spells and is thought to be good luck to find a four leaf clover, particularly for the Irish.
Rabbit's Foot
These lucky charms are thought to ward off bad luck and bring good luck. You mush carry the rabbit's foot on a chain around your neck, or in your left back pocket. The older it gets, the more good luck it brings.
Wishbones
Two people are to pull apart a dried breastbone of a turkey or chicken and the one who is left with the longer end will have their wish come true.

The superstition of knocking on wood for good luck originates from pagan beliefs in regards to trees.
