Hi Shweta,
You could organise a game play within a group of 5-6 people where in they have to build a lego (blocks) project (FYI Lego kits are available at toy shops).
You could divide the team in groups and assign the same project to all the groups. The group which builds the project first accurately and appropriately wins and then you can debrief using the following questions:
1. (For the group which did not complete the project) - What is it that did not let you complete the project?
2. What was it that the winning team did it differently to accomplish the task?
so on and so forth..
You are looking at the replies like:
Delegation of responsibility
Leadership
Effective communication
Prioritising
Etc...
If you want more info or resource on the same, Kindly mail me on and I would be able to device something for your requirement.

Himanshu

Hi friend,
I have 2 interesting team games that can be organized with the office premises with easily available props:
1: Tower game- Focus on team communication, delegation, planning & execution conflicts among team members
Requirements: 2 or more teams with min 5 & max 8 participants, unlimited newspapers, tape & scissors.
Duration: 15mins
Instructions to be given to participants: Each team has to discuss among themself & build the tallest & steady/stable tower with the help of newspaper & tape within 15mins.
Winner is he who has built the tallest & stable atleast for 1-2mins.
Trainer/observer: Note how the teams communicate who emerges as a leader, facilitors, roadblockers etc...what happened at the time of execution after planning etc. & give a feedback to the participants.
2: Paper-clip race: Team work without communication
duration: 1min
Requirement: 2 to more teams min 8 max 10 participants, u pins or paper clips 2 for each participants (ensure the 2 clips are not interlocked)
Instructions: Give each participants 2 clips each. The team is supposed to connect or interlock all clips within 1min without any verbal communication. Give them 1 min to discuss the strategy pls observe that participants do not interlock the clips in this time period. Eg: 8 members * 2clips each i.e all 16 clips should be interlocked forming a circle.
Winner: the team that can interlock all the clips within 1 mins
Observer: Note how difficult it is when a task is to be executed without communication. discuss wat problems the team faced to complete the task
I hope this helps you...awaiting ur reply.
