My query is under EPF act.
If employee was a member of EPF at last employer. At new employer he/she got more than 15000/- as basic.
Can new employer consider this new employee as excluded employee and ask to fill up form no 11 revised?
Please advice.

HI Nrvyas,
Employee can only be excluded if he had not been member of PF any point of time before, even if receives the salary more than 15,000/- but he had been member o fPF earlier then he can not b excluded.
Once member of PF is always member unless and untill his PF account is closed. Employee can not withdraw his PF if he is in employment. unemployment is the only criteria where PF can be withdrawn and account gets closed.

Hi,
Employer is bound to deduct PF if employee is already covered under the PF. However employer have the option of restrict it to 15000/- and not liable to pay employer contribution for anything above 15000/-
