I want to know if the minimum wage act depends on the employee's location/region or employer's region? My company's HQ is in Gujarat but the employee joins in another location so should we consider Gujarat's wage or Bangalore?

Dear Rashi Dave,
Jurisdiction for any legal purpose depends only on the place of work of the employee. Whatever be the head-quarters of the Company, the wages should be paid at the minimum rates of wages fixed for the location/region in which the place of work falls.
