Professional Tax is a state subject, more so relevant to local administration as the revenue from PT is shared by local admin like village panchayat, municipalities though these are known in different names in different states. In your case, it's necessary that your admin. must have regd. for a separate regn. under PT of WB and remit the PT in respect of those working in WB only. In which case you need not remit PT in Maharashtra in respect of those employed outside Maharashtra.
