As remember that I read the book: Feel the Fear and do it Anyway. Author is Susan Jeffers, Ph.D,
If everybody feels when approaching something totally new in life, yet so many are out there "Doing it" despite the fear. Then we must conclude that fear is not the problem.
Do you have difficulty making decisions?
Asking your boss for a raise ?
Looking for a new job ?
Leaving an unsatisfactory relationship ?.
Spending money?
Does fear keep you from experiencing and accepting life?
