The employee is eligible for EPS membership. On and after 01.09.2014 if any employee joins as fresh candidate - he will be eligible for EPS membership up to Basic & DA 15,000/-. If Basic and DA is beyond 15,000/- per month, then the entire contribution will be deposited to PF account only.
There is circular from EPFO in August,2014 regarding the above subject. One may search from EPFO site to get the same.
