Dear Abhishek,
Generally in the books on the Organisation Behaviour, there is a chapter on "Decision Making". Have you read these chapters? The most important model of the decision making is "Rational Decision Making" model. Please read this.
Above all, the quality of the decisions depends on:
a) Market knowledge or background knowledge of the situation
b) Ability to generate the alternatives
c) Ability to prepare the objectives of the decision
d) Ability to decide when to appraise the decision
e) Appraising the decision after a certain period of time
If you do this, at this state, it is more than sufficient.
All the best!
