There is a software called "Manic Time Tracker" which can be installed to PC/Laptop. It shows day-wise system activities..like what time it got started & closed, what time it was remain ideal, what are the pages the employee open & for how many time / duration etc. It is a good one to track employees activities at any given point of time.

Dear friend,

You have raised the query about the software to track the work done by the software employees. However, while raising this query what was the objective in your mind? Why do you want to do that?

Are you a business owner or HR professional? Suppose if you get some software like this then what would be the merits and demerits of the use of that software? Have you done the analysis? If the Managers or other top management officials are given access to the report produced by the software, then will the software professionals consider it as close supervision? And if they start thinking so then will it not be a throwback of the management practice of the early 20th century?

The kind of software that you are looking for is developed by Microsoft but then it is for their internal use only. The software provides weekly/monthly productivity reports. But it is developed to give insight to the individual employee and the Manager does not have access to their juniors' report.

While raising the query on the public forum, members are requested to give the complete background of the case. The forum is not a ground for competition on getting maximum information with a query having minimum words!

Thanks,
