The appointment letter of a company has to be signed by a person who is authorised by the Board of Directors of the company (who are having ultimate control over the affairs of the company) Please check whether the consultant has been nominated by your company board to sign the appointment letters on behalf of the company. If such authorisation is not there, then his signature will become null and void.
