There seems to be a general push from many companies to move towards a 50%/50% - in-office/Work-From-Home setting. While many of the employees still argue that they have proved their work from home effectiveness - some companies are starting to feel that we must start going back to the old system.
Perhaps these are just the last desperate "shows of prominence" from the people who still believe in the old-school ways of doing things. But the world may have forever moved to work that is defined by its quality and timeliness and not from the location where it's done. These tigers have tasted of freedom - there is no going back now! :)
