Dear Seniors, I need your guidance on reduction in salary of employee who is on probation in a school where 7CPC is applicable.
Can an employer reduce the basic salary of employee without any fault of employee?
I am working in a private school under CBSE Board, where 7 Central Pay commission adopted by school. i have joined the school on 01/01/2018 on probation as per appointment letter received. i have received the correct salary till Jan 2019 as per my original fixation. but now in Feb 2019 management has revised my appointment letter in which date of appointment has been changed to 02/01/2018 and pay fixation has been changed. due that my basic salary has been reduced and result of that my take home has been reduced.
I have already raised this issue with my management, but i am not getting satisfactory answer from them.
Is it legally correct ?? what i can do ?? please suggest and provide any judgement or act for the same matter for reference.
Thanks in Advance.
