Hi,

Strictly speaking only one UAN should exist per member. Now they have streamlined the process wherein if a Member already had one UAN employer will not be able to allot new UAN number itself. Hopefully your case should happened in the past.

Now if you are having two active UANs, you should deactivate the previous UAN and transfer the EPF account to the new one. You can transfer the old balance previous UAN to new UAN.

Would suggest get in touch with a consultant who deals in PF work and they can also merge it technically end one and c/f data to 2nd one....dealing with PF dept directly in my view they are yet to reach that stage of maturity and the journey is long.
