TN labour welfare fund applicable to all Factories covered under factories act, Motor transport undertaking covered by motor transport workers act-1961, plantation covered under the plantation labour act, five or more person employed by catering establishment covered under the TN catering establishment act and establishment defined in Sec 2 (D) of TN labour welfare fund act-1975.
maximum salary limit for availing this scheme is Rs-15,000 p.m
Every year employee has to contribute Rs-10 towards the fund, employer has to contribute Rs-20 and government will contribute Rs-10 for each employee covered under this scheme.

Dear Sir
As per a recent gazette notification issued by the government of Tamil Nadu, the Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) contribution has been increased as follows.
Employee Contribution: Rs 10 per annum
Employer Contribution: Rs 20 per annum
The increase in LWF contribution is effective January 2015.
