Recovery from Sexual Harassment Trauma- Suggestions For Aggrieved-Woman:

o Accept that it so Happened;
o Do not bottle up the Angst, Agony, Anger, Hurt, Harm-Validate what all you Experienced;
o Go beyond Self-blame and Shame;
o Accept that it was not your fault that you did not cause it;
o Try to be with people who will be supportive;
o Talk to people about what happened;
o Respect your “Perspective- Do not allow or let others tell you how you ought to Feel
o Join a Support Group of people who faced similar Harassments, yet bounced back;
o Share your Story, “Write down your experiences” of how it affected you;
o Try to Find out How and Why the events/ situation occurred to you;
o Firmly Maintain “Behaviour Boundaries” with those who seem not supportive to you; and inter alia
Promptly Report to Authorities such Act, Behaviour, Conduct, and or Dealings that are “Unwelcome” and or “Humiliating” to you for you are Protected from any Retaliation and shall always be Protected;
