I have been given contract by one company, iam paid on hourly basis. in the contract letter they mentioned, i should not have direct contact with the client or should not work for the client even after the completion of this contract for period of two years. thats fine with me but the company dint pay me last two months bill ie around 1,50,000. and company have stopped the project. client is asking me to work for them directly and he will pay me. Can i do this as i dint recieve money from company

Dear Anusha,
There are some gaps, you should have knowledge that why your company not paying to you. If they are not received payment from client than i dont thing it is good decision to work direct for client. Might they have also not pay you in future. Now you are eligible for payment from company but dealing with client no one help out for payment.
or
if you have a very good relation with you client, than no problem to take work direct from client but consent of your company will also required. If you work from home than you may go ahead. It might be a one step forward to your career.

So many cases like this happening.
My suggestion:
1. Send a legal notice to your company immediately. Get a good lawyer to draft a notice for you.
2. Keep the client informed on the default of your payment by your company and their non competition clause.
3. Have a new agreement made with the client, with clause "that they would take care of all legal matters pertaining to any issue that arise thereof by your main company", have a lawyer draft the contract for you to safe guard your interest. In short, keep the client responsible for any issue later with your company.
4. Its no harm working with the client directly, as they have approached you and not you. Ensure that the payment clause is secured this time.
Lastly, do inquire why the project was closed and why your company did not make the payment. Check the financial background of the client and other vendors working with them and their payment track records.

Further to what the other members suggested, the REASON WHY your company stopped paying your salary is VERY CRITICAL.
There surely exists a POSSIBILITY that you made a very good mark with the client who MIGHT have decided to play a dirty trick on your company--stop payments on one reason or the other forcing your company to EITHER withdraw your services OR cancel the agreement & then offer to hire you DIRECTLY. Why? Obviously pure economics.
And does this seem far-fetched? In the cut-throat world of business, It's not. I have seen it happening in different contexts.
I am NOT SAYING this is what happened in your case--all I am saying is: don't rule-out this possibility also.
