Hi Vivek... You set your goals first. For becoming a trainer of soft skills, you should read a lot of books on all subjects, including religion, politics, technical topics etc. Your English and other language communication should be good. I started my career as a Steno 52 years ago, joined L&T in 1978 in Delhi, after quitting Central Govt job there, gradually developed my skills in handling leaders in L&T and also in Central Govt. I got an opportunity to create HR Department in my business unit, when the computers were making a way into organisations. I created templates, formats etc. I did a PG in HRM through distant learning. I participated in all training programmes, worked hard with commitment and involvement in all areas. I played a role of HRBP even before the term was coined. Since my retirement in 2011, am into Soft skill training through four languages, all over India and gulf countries, I provide HR OD intervention for Indian and middle east clients. Stay in touch with me. Best wishes
