Dear All ,
In order to provide grounding / Earthing we are using Crocodile clamps while tanker unloading , solvent drum unloading etc
Is there any standard specification for the same ?
Is it required to CCoE approved?
Regards
Abhay

Dear Abhay,
Earth-Rite system is the appropriate to ground the Electro static charge.
Normally we start the activity just by providing a crocodile clamp to the tanker/ others required equipment.
But here with this Earth-Rite system we sholud ensure through a lighting indication system.

Dear Dipil,
It can be used everywhere, where the static hazard present. The problem of static electricity is generation of Sparks.
Diesel flash point is about 62 deg C. It is Clsss B solvent. Hence it will not catch fire at ambient temperature even we provide ignition close to this material. Hence you may use or not use ... no problem.
The approximate cost is about 1.0 to 1.5 lakhs per unit.
