'What did I learn today' is a concept, which helps me track, every small and big learning that comes my way, on a daily basis.
Here's my effort to share what I learnt this year. Trust it would help reflect you while mapping your growth in 2012.
1. Connecting and serving different communities: I am grateful to have been able to connect with communities which had remained out of my bounds till last year. Moving beyond the boundaries of professionals I generally interact with , helped me see how things work on other domains than mine.
2. Standing up and lending my voice to a social cause: This wasn't any peace march or even a partition, but being there for people who required the support to bring people along.
3.Working with few new firms and finding newer processes and systems: Nothing better than cross organisational learning ! Grateful for those team who readily shared their process adding on to my professional acumen
4. Establishing a brand while working through in-branding : This was an entirely new phase for me. Never had experienced , how representations can be synchronised for branding. Very grateful, to have been a part of such projects.
5.Documentations beyond HR : This year for the very first time, I was a part of the documentations that were not HR or even OD . Quite a learning while working through them.
One thing that remained common this year was the fact, that I would wake up everyday, to be of some help to some one , I dont know or will never know ! I remain immensely grateful for that .
Highs were ofcourse , been able to answer the posts that made a difference to the member who was looking for a solution, representing Cite Communities at XLRI and events of repute, receiving the Macbook :) and winning the awards including, Speaker's award from ESOL , Cambridge.
Launch of CiteSwarm is a long-term-dream-come-true. I am super excited to meet our member on 5th Jan at CiteSwarm Pune. Its been quite a wait, but all worth it . Nothing better than meeting my co-learners and listening about their work
My gratitude to you all who contributed to my learning and success. Thankyou for bringing me these opportunities and helping me to make my effort count !
Wis you all a very happy year end and Happy new year !
