Hi, Connections. Kindly help me out with the calculations for compensation working off;
eg; if an employee working for more than 3+ hours or less than 3 hours, how to calculate as half day or full day comp.off & what other rules lined up to it.

Compensatory holiday apples only when an employee is asked to work on a scheduled holiday. In such scenario, even if the employee has worked for a single hour, he should be given compensatory off of one day. Of course, his overtime wages could be restricted to one hour worked at double the rate.

If you do not pay overtime wages or if the employee concerned is not a workman, then can give half a day compensatory off for working on a holiday for 3 hours.
