We are basically a consulting firm entering into payroll processing for our clients. We are in the process of preparing a proposal for payroll processing. Our clients are looking for an estimate cost for all the processing fee. Since we are new would like to know how should we charge. is it a fixed percentage on the over all employees or a fixed value per employee. Any guidance in this regard is much appreciated.Also we would like to know the major activities that should be identified as part of our invoice.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any specific format that is used to send the rate card for proposal.
We have presented a profile without any info as such. But then our client wanted a presentation in terms of rate explaining the split of the invoice.
