What aspect of HR are you referring to? The topic is too vast to even begin... as an mba graduate, you would have studied it...
This is one question you would be better off doing an internet search rather than getting from a forum like this. eg: Google "best practices in HR in India" and see what comes up.
There are also enough of books available.
A forum like this is best used to get opinions /responses from experienced professionals - it is not a short cut to avoid base research - it may be better if you did your reading first and then sought clarifications through this forum.
Moreover you may have specific reasons for asking this question which you have not mentioned... I'm sure this is not an academic interest topic.
