Hi There, As I have resigned from my current organisation according to company policy of two months notice period.
I resigned on 29/03/2018 with notice period end date 29/05/2018. I was ready to serve 2 months notice period.
But my Line Management changed the date on portal as Last working date as 06/04/2018 . I discussed the same with my Line management and told them that I am ready to serve 2 months notice period. But they forcefully said we have to hire someone as a backfill so we need to relieve you early that was all their wordings. But in practically they have to show a yearly efficiency in the process.
But I told my management that I have planned my expenses accordingly I cannot afford there are cretain financial obligation on me like Monthly EMI's and expenses. If that was the case that you can relieve me early so you could have told me earlier so that I put my resignation accordingly.
What they done was they entered last working day as 06/04/2018 and last contractual end date as 25/05/2018 and told me that you will be entitled to get salary till 25 May 2018, I have all the documents with the date 25/05/2018.
And they made my farewell on 06/04/2018 and revoke all my accesses.
On 10/04/2018 my manager called me that might be it will not be possible to give you pay till 25/05/2018.
This is all cheating with me - Internal Management is playing with employees and head counts.
Kindly advise and suggest.

Once you were told that your notice period will be curtailed to 06-04-2018, in that case did you get any written confirmation or it was just verbal? Your case becomes stronger only if you have written confirmation.
The second statement is "On 10/04/2018 my manager called me that might be it will not be possible to give you pay till 25/05/2018." Did you record the call? Did you protest for reneging on the assurance?
At this stage, you may put up the application to the MD of your company. In the application write sequence of events chronologically. Further write that your claim for the salary till 25-05-2018 is legitimate and request to issue the salary till that date. Attach the evidence of communication, if any.
Lastly, one clarification. Recruitment as well as separation are dealt by HR Department. How come in your company "Line Manager" is deciding everything?
