Hi,
I am trying to put a few training and trainer effectiveness measures in place for the various training programs that we conduct in the organisation. Making a start with Voice and Accent training. Could someone please shed some light in this area?

Hi Sherin,

I didn’t get your question properly however if I am not wrong I'll tell you about Voice & Accent. If you plan for Voice & Accent Training first of all the trainees must have some basic knowledge about the Voice & Accent with out that you can’t proceed further.

For this you need to have a good Trainer who have got good hands on experience otherwise the trainees will get affected. If you speck in neutral accent (Indian) that’s fine but it should not become a fake accent. Just ensure this.

The basic reason for this is we speak English as our mother tongue (regional language). That’s why we need a training which really boosts the confidence of the employees to learn Voice & Accent. The following are the main areas of Voice & Accent.

Voice and Accent includes the basic pronunciation from A-Z, Vowel & Consonant sounds, Word endings (es, ed.), and Voice & Accent based drills, Syllable stress, & Intonation. .etc...But ensure if you start this your employees work regularly on this until they are well acquainted with these.

If you need any help in this regard let me know.

Best Regards,

Kalyan. :D

Hi,
Thanks for your response..We already have a Voice and Accent program and a trainer in place. However i want to put a measure through which i can evaluate the effectiveness of the training and the trainer. Feedback forms and assessments are already in place. i wanted to know if there is another way to assess trainers?
Thanks
