Hi there, I joined this organization in FEB 2024. I had a discussion with my owner when I joined. He told me that our company is new and only 40-50 employees are working. The organization expands. There are 110 employees who have recently started working with the company. We agreed to 15k for 40 employees as this is a rural area in Himachal Pradesh. But last week, I asked them for a salary raise, and he quarrelled with me. He is not even saying a word to me. i am short of expenses, in this case what should i do?
Hi, Increment or salary hike is not mandatory and it cannot be claimed legally as a matter of right. However Employer should ensure that salaries are fixed and paid on par with minimum wages applicable to the State. If the Employer is not paying salary as per your expectation then better look for other better offer. Why to litigate relationship with the Employer ?

The question of increment in salary should not be an individual case rather for all employees working in your organization.
You joined in job in the month of Feb 2024 and yet complete an year. Asking for increment doesn't sound good.
Yes, company recruit people in begining with low packages because it was inception period but pays matching rate at minimal rate.
You all can jointly raise the voice for an increment, if the two criteria is being met. Firstly, if there was a change in rate of Wages notified by the state government. Secondly, if the company recruited new employees @ higher rate than of the 40 employees joined on initial stage.
Therefore, you can refer to the matter to labour office for the action but try to move through the union is the best way to get result.

As an HR Professional, you now have ample opportunities to prove your metal. You present to the management what is the updated methodology in HR practices and highlight about their crude methods and violations concerning the implementation of legal compliances. Failing to comply is the consequence they are going to face. Surely, you will understand whether they honor your opinion or neglect it. Based on that you can decide to continue your career there or walk out.

Let me get this clear.
You are an employee or a consultant?
What is the work you do?
If you do not give the full details, no one will be able to give you the right answer.
Why do you think your salary should go up just because the company has more people?
At best, if the workload is higher than what you can complete on your own, you can ask for an assistant.
