My query is that what is work criteria in social audit and technical audit under factory act, and what was new amendments for employer.

There is compliance audit of the provisions of the Factory Act, there is no social audit or technical audit, to the best of knowledge gathered in 35 years in the field.

Social audit does not confine itself to a factory alone in the era of corporate social responsibility and hence it is called " Corporate Social Audit " signifying the quality of the value delivery system of a business corporation to all its stake holders, contribution to environmental protection, participation in the developmental programmes of the geographical area of its key operations and the like. In short, it is a voluntary assessment of its over all social responsibility and hence it is optional. Simply put, social audit is a self-assessment voluntarily done by the company to understand and evaluate its social and ethical performance. It is different from periodical or surprise inspections conducted by the statutory authorities.
Compliance audit, as suggested by our learned friend Mr.KK!HR, relates to the compliance of the provisions of various Acts and Rules applicable to the establishment.
