Dear Khola,
I have seen the recent notification but can you clarify if it is replacing "fifty percent (death cases) or sixty percent (permanent total disablement cases) of salary which is subject to a maximum of Four Thousand rupees" or just a round off "Eight thousand rupees" on which we have to multiply the factor? My understanding is that any monthly salary above Rs 8000 will be taken as Rs 8000 only and the 50% or 60%, as the case may be, of this 8000 should be multiplied by the relevant factor to arrive at the compensation. Can you please through some light on it?
