15th of january of next year. eg: for 2008 you will have to submit it before january 15, 2009 to respective factory office.

I want to ask another question
For eg. Suppose in 1 factory they have deposited Ist half yearly return on 15-july-09
But in jan'10 I demand for another Half yearly return for period ending 1-july-09 to 31-dec-09, but they have deposited only Annual factory return on 31-jan-10,
Now my question is that , if in this above case they have deposited Annual return,
now it is mandatory to file half yearly also. Is there any consequences for that

Dear Pankaj,
I have asked you to go through your State Factory Rules for submission of returns. According to the Punjab Factory Rules, 1952 we are to sent half yearly return for the period ending 30 June only & this is to be submitted to CIF up to 15th July. In Haryana & Punjab we are not to sent any half yearly return for the period ending 31st, December. We are only to submit annual return in Form 21 up to 15th January in Haryana & in Punjab it is to be submitted up to 31st January. Thus you should go through your State Rules for your query.

2. what are the forms and registers to be submitted for contract lab our registration.
3. is any change in esi contribution and recently the govt adopted the smart cards type (permanent cards)what they are called.
