Hi
I have joined a pvt ltd. company on 14th September 2015 and my last working day in the company is 20th August 2016. Company has deducted LTA of Rs. 2500/Month from my salary.
Now at the time of Final settlement they said that I have not completed 1 Year hence i am not eligible for LTA.
Please suggest if this is right.
Thanks and Regards,
Mukesh

Dear Mukesh,
If the deducted amount are mentioned in CTC as agreed in the appointment advice / letter / agreement. It will be payable with your full and final payout.
Suppose If don't pay with this F&F, take the final amount whatever they are giving and send a legal notice for recovery of the amount so deducted / not paid and file a civil suit if you are mentally prepared to take.

Hi Mr.Mukesh,
If you have the appointment Order / written proof which the concern gave you in your joined period.
Just go thru. that then ask them why are they Deducting the LTA from your salary.
They are not answer correctly then you take legal action like FIR.

First, the company did not deduct 2500 from your salary
₹2500 was in your CTC as LTA amount. More correctly ₹30000 was considered as a part of your annual CTC.
CTC is the cost to comoany and not the amount you get.
Since you didn't reach the elegibility criteria, you don't get the amount.
If you were under impression that you were going to get it, then obviously HR / Recruiter took advantage of your guliability
You are not eligible for that money and you can't get it.
So forget it, move on and next time remember to make decisions based on in-hand and not CTC. Consider all perks only to the extent that it makes an actual difference to you. And take your job change moves keeping in mind the eligibility cut-off
