Hello Everyone,
Hope all of you are in your best health....
The Question is very simple....
Why are females preferred as an HR employee over Males? :?:
Lets discuss this and find out weather this is actually prevailing or just a myth, and if it is then why?????
Best Regards,

Hi Priyanka,It's not a myth, female H R Mgr is like killing TWO BIRDS with one HIT!! It's the Patience,Tolerance,Much lesser Distractions, sincere, sense of responsibility is very high. Male can recover faster even if he is insulted but Female besides sulking, does not like being critisised takes it as the whole family is being undermined.U have to grant MEN ARE GENTLEMEN,decent, can appreciate the sentiments.Combination of both is better for H R DEPRTMENT,meaning If HR Mgr is Male have Assist Mgr a Female vica versa. All R good handling matters & pleasant personality detenses the Enviornment. Take care,I am Pune based 9850038854 Subhash
Hi Priyanka,
Its just a myth. There is no such preference. The qualities on the basis of which the HR candidates are rated are generally found in females but males are equally given chance to appear for the interview. The HR qualities are preferred in selection procedure then no matter if a female or male possesses those qualities, only deserving candidate wins the position.

Dear Priyanka,
I do agree with what Durga as mentioned. Simple is if you can through the names of members from CITE HR itself we can understand both female and male are given equal chance in today's world.
Friends hope you agree with me.......

Dear Friends,
It is not the gender specific. it is the organizational need, in genenal in Pharma companies the packing section is crowded with female employees and to take care of their welfare don't you think that we need a female HR person.
Not only in Pharma in any organization where the female employees are there we need a minimum of one female HR fac so that she can move closely, discuss, understand and address their concerns which in turn is not possible for a male candidate.
We should look in to a concept of a right person in right place. If you don't have that type of a perception then your life will be miserable and you can not survive.
