Hi, May I know why a double deduction is deducted from salary. Because according to my knowledge after the deduction of ESI and PF from CTC remaining amt will credit to my account as a monthly salary. Currently, I am working with a Pharmacy company they are deducting twice pf.. As an employee and as an employer.

There are several post regarding the concept of CTC in this forum. In your CTC Employer's portion of PF & ESI Contribution has been considered. Now while processing payroll, employee portion of PF & ESI contribution along with PTAX if any will be deducted from the employees' earnings.
Employee portion of PF & ESI Contribution is not part of CTC.
